Erin Prather Stafford is a senior communications specialist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Before UT Southwestern, she was the associate editor for the Texas Medical Association’s physician magazine Texas Medicine, publications coordinator for the Travis County Medical Society, and editor for Austin Family Magazine.
She earned a bachelor's degree in communication from St. Edward's University in Austin and a master's degree in gender and international development at the University of Warwick in Great Britain. Mrs. Prather Stafford is the recipient of a 2006 Barbara Jordan media award and a 2003 Parenting Publications of America gold editorial award.
In her spare time she is an active member of the Association for Women in Communications Dallas Professional Chapter. She is also a member of the Dallas Running Club and the Writers' League of Texas. Mrs. Prather Stafford enjoys running, traveling, films, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
